So much in preparation for such a special occasion.  You plan everything out so it will be prefect, but something always seem to go wrong.   Well, at least that’s what happen to me. I’m not going to mention what class I was, because then you will know it was back with the dinosaurs (just kidding).  Anyway, you plan and plan and time still seem to run against you.  After finally getting up enough nerve to invite this guy whom I really liked, cut back on snacks to make sure theres no pimples, and I can fit in my Prom outfit.  My color theme was Purple and black or maybe it was purple and white.  (I guess I told on myself-it was a while ago).  Anyway, you find the right shoes, because everything has to be prefect even down to your accessories and undies.  So after getting the shopping done and making transportation arrangements.  All these things can have you going around in circles, and the cost can give you a headache!

My date back out at the last minute.   So I considered going “stag” or finding another date at the last minute.  If you find yourself in this position what would you do?

(a) Where do you can find another date at the last minute?

(b) You can always go “stag” because who says you can’t go alone and still have fun?

(c) You can stay home, and maybe miss out on a nice time.

Well, to make a long story short, I got another date who was my best friend older brother.   In the end, I had a nice time and glad I went.   I would have miss out had I stayed home.  So if you find yourself with this problem … go to your Prom.   Even if I hadn’t got another date, I would have went “stag.”  Nothing wrong with that…Molly Ringwald in “Pretty In Pink” went stag.  Sometimes you just got to do what you gotta do to prove a point.  Like the saying goes, “Never let them know they can get the best of you.”   If you stay home–you might end up wishing you had went years later.  You would never know what might have been.
